Jim Embley is chief executive officer of Rubicon. An accomplished professional, he has 25 years of experience in executive management within the data center infrastructure industry. In 2005, Jim founded Potomac Integration, which later became Rubicon Professional Services. In 2007, he and founding partners Eric Holzworth and Bill Pirrone negotiated the sale of Rubicon Professional Services to Fortress International Group, Inc. The partners purchased the company back in 2009. Prior to founding Rubicon, Jim experienced tremendous success starting and growing companies. Among such companies was Onya Technologies, a software communication and notification company which Jim started in 2003. Onya was built to ensure children’s safety, and was later sold to Honeywell in 2005. Jim launched his career in 1985 as a founding member of a leading mission-critical infrastructure provider and served as executive vice president until 2003, at which time he left the company, selling his equity interest. Jim holds a BS degree in Finance and Business Administration from James Madison University. |
