Company Achieves Prestigious Recognition for Three Consecutive Years

for Hiring High Percentage of U.S. Veterans

Kennesaw, GA – November 18, 2021 – Rubicon Technical Services (RTS) today announced the company received the 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Platinum Award. Issued by the U.S. Department of Labor, the award honors organizations that meet rigorous criteria for recruiting, employing, and retaining America’s military Veterans. RTS far exceeds the 2021 HIRE Vets 10 percent requirement by hiring 39 percent veterans. Of the Veterans hired in 2020, 80 percent are still employed by RTS. In total, RTS’s workforce is 66 percent occupied by veterans.

Initiated by the Honoring Investments in Recruiting and Employing American Military Veterans (HIRE Vets) Act of 2017, the award recognizes small businesses, nonprofit organizations, and large companies for excellence in leadership regarding promoting veterans’ employment.

According to the U.S. Secretary of Labor, Martin J. Walsh’s, statement at the 2021 HIRE Vets Medallion Awards Ceremony, “HIRE Vets is the only federal award program that recognizes employers who successfully recruit, hire, and retain veterans.”

RTS joins 848 other companies from forty-nine states, plus the District of Columbia, who have shown a commitment to hiring veterans, while also ensuring that they have a long-term career and growth plan that utilizes the diverse skills they have acquired through their military service.
